This is a large round silicone rock or stone mold #2. Used predominately for Dot Mandala Stone making but works great for resin art or soap making!
This mold creates a perfectly symmetrical, round stone WITH a tiny center marking to make ease of starting your project off right in the center. Our molds are created by pioneer dot mandala artist, Lydia May, and distributed by her dot art painting supply company, The Dot Art Depot. We use only the highest strength, premium grade platinum silicone for our molds so you can reuse them over and over, again and again to make many many stones!

I recommend using Hydrocal or Ultracal plaster powder but any plaster will work just fine. The process is simple, with Hydrocal, mix 14.4 oz of powder with 4.6 oz or water and pour it into your mold. It will be set and removable in a matter of minutes. Pop out your art stone and allow it to cure for no less than 2 days.
*Curing time may vary depending on climate.

The smooth cast stone will measure 5″ in diameter with a 1″ height.

I received the dotting tool set very promptly via international shipping. That and the rest of my order came very nicely packed.
Of course I had to paint something that day! I bought both sets, not realizing how large the larger tools are. Maybe they will inspire me to work on larger items or on canvas.
